We all experience some anxiety. Feeling worried or anxious when facing stressful or new situations is natural.
In fact, anxiety can be beneficial because it alerts us of dangerous situations.
In a way, anxiety acts as an alarm that warns us when we could get hurt , so we certainly need anxiety to survive.
If a tiger were about to eat us, our brains would immediately turn-on the anxiety-alarm and different mechanisms would activate in our bodies to help us fight or run away from the tiger.
The problem only exists when our anxiety-alarm is unable to turn-off and leaves our bodies in a constant state of emergency.
If our bodies are over-responding when the dangerous tiger is gone, then anxiety starts to affect and sabotage our daily functioning.
Sometimes, the volume of the alarm can be significantly laud and we will experience what we call: panic attacks.
Experiencing panic attacks can be really debilitating and impact all areas of our life.
Anxiety can worsen over time and/or lead to other disorders such as depression, substance abuse, or relationship problems.
Therapy can help you identify the root cause/s of your anxiety and provide you with multiple strategies to eliminate your anxiety symptoms.
You can train your brain turn- off the anxiety-alarm when it is not needed.
When we experience anxiety, our lives are usually trapped in a never-ending loop of negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
It is common to try to solve problems by talking with friends or family members. In fact, they are the best emotional support we usually find. But unfortunately, they do not always have the professional training necessary to understand the psychological causes of all our problems, or what effective techniques we could utilize to cope with them.
Once a treatment begins, my clients are aware that they could call me 24/7 if a crisis arises.
Not kidding, after struggling with anxiety and panic attacks myself, I was able to understand how challenging it could be.
I know how it feels like and I can show you the way out of anxiety. You don't have to do it alone.

During therapy sessions, you can identify the causes of your depression and I can help you develop -what I call a manual or emotional blue print- to help you understand what triggers your sadness and happiness.
Therapy can provide you with multiple strategies to eliminate your depressive symptoms
Depression can worsen over time and lead to, or be accompanied by, other disorders such as anxiety, substance abuse, or relationship problems.
In many cases, depression is just the result of other underlying disorders that were never detected.
In many cases, depression is fueled by past difficult experiences that were never processed and continue to impact our minds, emotions, and relationships.
It is not uncommon for symptoms of depression to be present for a long time. Many people describe carrying a sensation of emptiness inside for as long as they can remember... like a void that can never be filed.
Living with depression can feel like you are pushing a heavy stone up the hill every day. Therapy can alleviate you from carrying that heavy weight.
After struggling with depression myself, I was able to understand how challenging it could be for a person to function in the every day life when dealing with depressive symptoms.
I know how it feels like and I can show you the way out of depression. You don't have to do it alone.

Living with the weight of unprocessed trauma can feel like an endless uphill battle.
As a result of having hidden wounds, emotional distress shows up affecting your mental well-being and relationships.
In the quest to solve our emotional struggles, talking with friends or family members often serves as a crucial support system. However, these well-meaning individuals might lack the professional training needed to fully understand the psychological roots of our challenges or provide effective coping techniques.
During therapy sessions, we can explore the causes of your emotional struggles. I'm here to help you create what I call an "emotional blueprint" – a guide that unravels the triggers of your pain and uncovers the paths to your joy.
Therapy offers a multitude of strategies to alleviate the weight of your emotional burden, helping you find resilience.
I'm a trauma certified therapist and would be honored to guide you on your healing journey.
